Powerful payload.
Equipped with carbon fiber axis arms, DJI RS 4 Pro offers a payload capacity of 4.5 kg (10 lb) as well as plenty of power and torque to easily accommodate the most popular mirrorless or cinema camera and lens combinations on the market.
2nd Generation Native Vertical Shooting
Designed with a new horizontal plate, RS 4 Pro enables the second generation of native vertical shooting to achieve even higher efficiency. Without the need for additional accessories, filmmakers can simply release the horizontal plate and lock it in the vertical position to easily switch to vertical shooting.
Easy to Balance
The rotation axis now features two bearings that allow for easy adjustments.
All three axes feature a Teflon coating with a low coefficient of friction that ensures smooth balancing, even when installing heavy cameras.
When changing cameras or lenses, a fine adjustment wheel on the tilt axis allows you to move the camera forward or back for millimeter-precise balancing.
An adjustable positioning guide has been added to the top quick release plate to prevent the camera from loosening or moving.
Auto-locking screen.
The OLED touchscreen features a new auto-locking feature that prevents accidental touches during recording. When the screen is locked, it can still display the current gimbal and joystick modes, thereby reducing power consumption.
2nd Generation Auto-locking Axis.
With next-generation auto-locking axis, DJI RS 4 Pro can quickly start up or enter sleep mode, greatly improving efficiency during recording, transitions, and storage. Additionally, the axis locks have been improved to achieve smaller gaps, further reducing gimbal vibration when locked.
PRO Stabilization, Excellent Stability, Exceptional Standards.
DJI RS 4 Pro features a 20% increase in motor torque on all three axes, to provide greater power redundancy once balanced. This ensures that the gimbal retains its responsiveness and precision in tracking movements, even with heavy cameras or multiple accessories. It also provides enough power to stabilize the device in various shooting scenarios.
Car Mount Mode.
The new Car Mount Mode optimizes the stabilization algorithm based on vehicle vibrations and wind resistance data, enabling stable shooting even with shaking or vibration.

High-efficiency lens control.
DJI RS 4 Pro features a new joystick mode switch, allowing the gimbal movement or lens zoom to be controlled with the joystick. In zoom control mode, videographers can use motorized zoom on PZ lenses, Clear Image Zoom, and zoom with an external focus motor. When combined with two Focus Pro motors, the RS 4 Pro allows videographers to adjust lens zoom with the joystick and precisely control focus with the dial, facilitating smooth and effortless lens control.
Remote control system for professional collaboration.
The DJI Focus Pro handheld unit ushers in innovative LiDAR autofocus technology and features a high-precision magnetically damped handheld control unit: the Focus Pro handheld unit.
FIZ Control Channels. Allows FIZ (Focus, Iris, Zoom) control, to master focus, iris, and zoom with ease.
160m Communication Distance. Allows for in-vehicle recording and long-duration long-range shots.
A-B Points, Electronic Marking. Provides tactile perception of end points when bouncing, to more accurately focus on a set route or two targets in static positions.
Bluetooth Functionality
Allows remote start/stop of camera recording, improving efficiency when shooting with cable cams, crane arms, and other supports.
In cooperative team shooting, the gimbal operator can control the RS 4 Pro gimbal using devices such as DJI Master Wheels, DJI Ronin 4D Grips, and the DJI High-Brightness Remote Monitor. The focus puller can also activate the High-Brightness Remote Monitor’s LiDAR waveform for intelligent focus assist that enables more precise control with the Focus Pro hand unit.
DJI RS 4 Pro adopts dual-mode Bluetooth technology and supports wireless shutter and wireless zoom control. After switching the joystick mode to zoom control, filmmakers can use the joystick to perform motorized zoom on PZ lenses as well as Clear Image Zoom.

DJI Focus Pro offers a complete and powerful lens control solution to filmmakers using the RS 4 Pro. Both solo content creation and team collaborations can easily access Intelligent Autofocus with LiDAR, as well as multi-channel control of focus, aperture, and zoom, for dynamic mastery of every focusing moment.
Integrated Installation and Power Supply.
DJI RS 4 Pro can simultaneously power the LiDAR Focus Pro and the DJI Video Transmitter via the LiDAR Focus Pro to DJI Transmission Cable Hub, eliminating the need for an external V-mount battery. The DJI Video Transmitter can also be easily and directly installed on the bottom of RS 4 Pro via the hot shoe, reducing the burden on portable setup.
Intelligent Focus Assist.
Using the Ronin 4D Grips and high-brightness Remote Monitor, you can select targets for LiDAR focus, switch focus modes, and activate the LiDAR waveform.
Gimbal/Focus/Camera Parameter Control
In conjunction with the Ronin 4D grips, Focus Pro hand unit, Master Wheels, and high-brightness remote monitor, you can remotely control the gimbal, focus, and camera parameters for an integrated creative process that encompasses receiving, monitoring, and controlling.
Mirrored Control Mode
When RS 4 Pro is mounted on mounts such as a crane jib, cable cam, or vehicle suction cup mount, you can directly control the main menu operations of Sony and other mirrorless cameras via mirrored control mode on the high-brightness remote monitor without having to disconnect the camera.
Compatible with DJI Ronin Image Transmitter.
Both freelance filmmakers and small crews can use the Ronin Image Transmitter to provide HD live feeds, remote control of the gimbal and camera, ActiveTrack 4.0, Force Mobile, and many other features, achieving an integrated shooting experience with monitoring and control capabilities.
